John Woods
John started dancing in 2005. Sharon's intense training saw John quickly climb the ranks at Spin City, and he was immediately involved in many of the performance teams.
John's commitment to salsa and his great technique saw him gain invitation to start training with Spin City's Pro Team in 2008. This saw him go through intense training with Sharon and the team in performance work and teacher training. In 2009 John was a part of the dramatic Vampires Routine, which toured nationally and internationally. To finish the tour the team headed to the Malaysia Salsa Congress and the Vietnam Salsa Congress where Sharon invited John to perform the intense couples section, which is a technically challenging and one of the fastest routines Sharon has ever choreographed. John nailed both performances, and the audiences loved it.
John is a beautiful social dancer, who has moves and a smile that make the ladies swoon. His precise technique, footwork and attention to detail makes him one of Melbourne's finest teachers.
